Ok we are off….

Hi there.. I thought about what I should say in the first blog post and had great thoughts about this topic and that topic, but instead I thought I should share some information.

Balmonds Daily Moisturiser. https://www.hollandandbarrett.ie/shop/brands/balmonds/?utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=nonbrand&&&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&gclid=CjwKCAjwp_GJBhBmEiwALWBQkzDwZTYjY1UVvNhv_6ZQNvQ4XsWNhkKUedSXzYpX7zj_NgrDN7lEQhoC6lAQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Balmonds also sell for their own website: https://balmonds.co.uk

Dermalex Psoriasis Treatment Cream : https://www.dermalex.co.uk/products/psoriasis-cream/

You can get both from Amazon too. I also cannot recommend Double Base enough.https://www.doublebase.com/the-doublebase-range/doublebase-applied/

So there you have it – I’m actively using these products to try to take control of the Psoriasis. But it’s fair to say that there is a lot more than needs to go into this.

Where do I start:

Diet, Gut health, Probiotics, Kombucha, Whole foods, removing refined foods and processed foods, reducing pork, alcohol, bread, dairy and a whole lot more.

I want to share some of the books and ideas that have pushed me into this quest to try to take control of my Psoriasis.

I am also planning to go down the medical route to see what lights they can shine on this. If it gets very bad, I will opt for anti-body treatment, but I will not take a biologic medication as that will only treat the symptoms and not the cause.

I do believe from reading recent medical journals that Psoriasis may be attributed to gut health and that there is exciting research in this space to understand the “gut biome” and its role in the pathways to these different auto-immune diseases.

I was not born with Psoriasis, it developed in my early 30’s after a year spent living in African. I remember the first plaque on my elbow and had no idea that in 20 years, it would have spread across 15% of my body and resulted in many different mental health days in my life.

I’m blessed with a wonderful family and a gang of kids that would keep any dad busy. I want to get on-top of this disease, for them, for me and for everyone I can share this story with.

As I get this website moving in the future, I’ll invite you to share you stories.

thank you for reading – subscribe to receive blog posts. Psoriasis Heath Online signing off for this week… thanks
